hurricane watches and warnings for maryland delaware, virginia and then hurricane warnings up for the outer portion of north carolina. here's a more close in storm track for you. again 2:00 a.m. friday morning you can see even hurricane force winds extending on to the outer banks of the carolinas and just turning northeast in time we think that will keep it at least a hurricane force winds offshore of the maryland beaches but just a slight deviation to the west. the storm still hundreds of miles away would bring it in and bring those hurricane force winds in as well. we hope that does not happen. it's going to take a while to know for sure. ocean city today all quiet on the rain. waves pretty decent size probably 2, 3, 4-foot rollers nothing leak we'll see toward the end of the week but for the time being we've got the calm before the storm so to speak. inner harbor nice view here for ya, and we've got 93 now at bwi winds south at 5. temperatures hot fredericks 97. we were up to 100 earlier today. this is an awfully hot way to start september and our rainfall deficit continue to grow
